How to use Propecia?

Propecia should always be used according to the instructions of doctor or pharmacist.

• Only one tablet should be taken daily.
• Propecia can be taken with or without food.
• If someone forgets to take Propecia, he should not take an extra tablet. He should just take the next tablet as usual.

NOTE: Propecia do not work faster or in a better way if it is taken extensively.

Who should not use Propecia?

• Propecia is made for the treatment in male pattern hair loss; it should not be taken by any female or children.
• A person having allergy problem to any of the ingredients present in Propecia tablet should not use it.

• Females who are or may potentially be pregnant:
- Should not use Propecia
- should not come in contact with crushed or broken tablets of Propecia.

If a female who is pregnant comes in the contact of any active ingredient present in Propecia, either by swallowing or through the skin, it may cause various abnormalities for an unborn baby. Pregnant ladies who come in contact with propecia should consult with their doctor.

Propecia tablets are very well coated and will prevent contact with the active ingredient during normal handling, only in the condition if the tablet is not broken.

Possible side effects of Propecia

Like all the other prescribed medicines, Propecia can also cause side effects. According to doctor’s report from the various experiments done for propecia, side effects from Propecia were uncommon and did not affect most of the men. A few number of men faced some sexual side effects.
The active ingredient present in Propecia is also used by older males at a five-time higher dose to treat enlargement of the prostate. Some of these males have reported other side effects like problems with ejaculation, breast swelling and/or tenderness and allergic reactions such as lip swelling and rash.

Storage and handling for Propecia.

Propecia should be kept in the tightly closed container. It should be stored in a dry place at the room temperature. Propecia tablets should not be given to anyone else; it is prescribed according men to men. Propecia should always be kept out of the reach of children.
